William Wellons

William “Dick” Wellons, age 74, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on April 22, 2020.  He loved his family, was an avid aviator, and was known as the “Legend” by his peers within the automotive industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Daisy Mae Wellons; and brother, Walt Wellons Jr. He is survived by children, Shawn Wellons, Brian Wellons, Wendy Wellons, Jamie Wellons, and Jessica Wellons; his grandchildren, Alexis Rudd, Ashlyn Wellons, Layla Harris, and Aliyah Harris.  He is also survived by a host of extended family.
