Verlin "Buck" Allmon

Philadelphia

Verlin “Buck” Allmon passed away September 29, 2021 at Sweetwater Hospital.  Buck had a long career at Vestal MFG, and a lifetime of farming beef cattle. He was a proud member of Reed Springs Baptist Church for 80 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Miller Allmon of Lenoir City; 7 sisters; and 3 brothers. Buck is survived by his son, Tim Allmon and fiancee Colleen Webb; Brother, Billy Joe Allmon of East Peroria, IL; Sister, Delois Sue Roy and husband James of Sweetwater; Brothers in law, Bill Miller of Akron, OH, and Charles Bettis of Philadelphia; Sister in law, Peggy Allmon.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2-4 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 PM.  A graveside service will follow immediately after at Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.loudonfuneralhome.net.
