Shelby Shaver

Shelby Jean Shaver, age 84 of Loudon, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.  Jean was of the Baptist faith and was a longtime member of Union Fork Creek Baptist Church.  She retired from Viskase after 38 proud years of service.

Jean was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Lillie Reed; Sisters, Mildred Elkins, and Jewel Watson; Brother, Eugene Reed. She is survived by daughters, Regina Roberts and husband Dwaine, Renea Clemmer, Tonya Ramsey; Son, Freeman “Buddy” Russell Jr. and wife Debbie; Sisters, Virgie Ridenour and Gerri Bojanzyk; 9 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and 4 Great Great Grandchildren; Beloved cat, Baby. Jean is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM on Friday, March 18, 2022 in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Joe Watson officiating. The graveside service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Steekee Cemetery.
