Robert Lawson

Robert “Doc” Lawson, age 88 of Philadelphia, passed away on January 24, 2022, leaving his wife of 43 years, Georgia Lawson; children, Kim Mason, Brandon Watts, Allen Lawson, Roy Lawson, Larry Allmon, Ronnie Allmon, Tommy Allmon, and Kevin Allmon; sisters Geneva Presley and Wilma McKelvey; brothers Fred Lawson and Floyd Lawson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, Edward Lawson; parents Ike and Rosie Lawson; brothers Junior Issac, Bobby Lawson, and James Lawson; sisters Louise Sells and Gertie Parks.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5-7pm. The Funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. The graveside service will be 11am Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Simpson Cemetery.
