Peggy Melton

Peggy Melton, age 83 of Johnson Valley, passed away on January 4, 2021.  She loved fishing, puzzle books, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, her flowers, and Tennessee basketball. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Melton; Son, Sammie Joe Melton; Daughter, Deborah Lynn Melton; Parents, Frank and Christine Harrison; Brothers, Buddy, Stanley, Jimmy, Charlie, and Freddie Wayne Harrison; Sisters, Sarah Moses, and Nancy Gage; and several Brothers and Sisters-In-Law. She is survived by children, Donald Melton and wife Pauline, Ann Prock, Pat Mason and husband Ralph, Franklin Melton and wife Sylvia, Tammie Martin and husband Dan; Siblings, Brenda Melton, Ronnie Harrison, and Larry Harrison; Grandchildren, Donald Melton Jr., Joy Gardner, Jody Melton, Carmin Arnwine, Becky and Bryan Mason, Greg and Matthew Melton, Kadrienne Whitehead. Peggy is also survived by several great grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may visit at their convenience on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Loudon Funeral Home, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Johnson Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Franklin Melton and Rev. Dan Martin will officiate.
