Michael J. Skinner, age 70, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. He retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, where he worked as a state trooper. He was a lover of all things having to do with cars.
Mr. Skinner was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Edith Skinner. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Taylor; fiance’, Amanda Messer; grandchildren, Tyler Hansford, Lily Taylor and Landry Taylor; a group of loving friends and the Ted Russell Nissan family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Loudon Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery.
