Luther Cross

Luther C. “Fuzz” Cross age 82 of Loudon passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022.  Fuzz loved anything where he could ride a tractor and enjoyed spending his time farming and fishing.  Fuzz was a member of Steekee Creek Baptist Church, and will be remembered as someone who never met a stranger.

Fuzz was preceded in death by, Wife, Shirley Cross; Daughters, Debbie Brown and Joyce Cross; Parents, Lester and Effie Cross; Brothers, James Cross, and David Cross; Sisters, Billie Sue Thacker, Doris Cross, Geraldine Burnette, and Barbara Cross.

He is survived by daughter, Sandra Walker and husband Robert; Brother, Jake Cross; Sister, Linda Thompson; Grandson, Scooter Smith; Great Grandson, Geffrey Lee; and Brenda Cross.  Fuzz is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5 PM-7 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating.  The graveside service will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10 AM at Corinth Cemetery.
