James Cox

James “Bill” Cox, age 75 of Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.  Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he retired as a lieutenant colonel, he loved motorcycles, and was a man of faith.

Bill was preceded in death by wife, Bonnie Cox; Parents, James and Irene Cox.

Bill is survived by children, Amy Shanahan and husband Mike, Dalton Cox and wife Sohnytha; Grandchildren, Zakrye and Jaikeb Cox, Michael, Josephine, and Remington Shanahan; Step children, Terri Thomas and husband Barry, Kelley Watts; Step Grandchildren, Zachary Thomas and wife Jess, Gabriel Thomas and wife Allie, and Avery Pettitt; Special friend, Jamie Ayers; Bill is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 2-4 PM with the funeral to follow at 4 in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home. Don P. "Peno" Campbell will be officiating. The graveside service will follow immediately after at Steekee Cemetery.
