David Bridges

David “Sleepy” Bridges, age 73 of Lenoir City, passed away to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was an Atlanta Braves baseball fan.

He is preceded in death by an infant son, Stanley Lynn Bridges, parents; Earl and Mary Bridges, brothers; Pete and Jim Bridges, and sister, Linda Clemons.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carlene Bridges, daughter, Stephanie Sutton and husband Ricky, granddaughter, Penny Sharp and husband Matthew, great-grandchildren; Bryson Sutton and Noah Sharp, step-grandchildren; Michael Sutton and Amanda Galyon and husband Jerry, 6 step great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws; Margaret Ann Hicks, Paula Powell, brother-in-laws; Keith Powell and Heath Powell, Jerry Roberts, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home.
