Annie Lawson

Annie “Grace” Lawson, 82, of Vonore, originally from the Paint Rock community, passed away on August 7, 2022. Grace was an avid gardener, bird watcher, and quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Lawson; parents, Joe and Mary Ruth Lawhon; brothers, Gene and Freddie Lawhon; and son, Tom Lawson.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Betty Gray; grandson, Joe (Erica) Gray; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Rose and a forthcoming great-grandchild due in the spring; siblings Sam (Barbara) Lawhon, Sue (Buddy) Hodge, Clarence Lawhon, Liz (Dwight) Thomas, George (Peggy) Lawhon, Martha (Jerry) Brickey and Bonnie (Gary) Barber; and her in-laws, Lillie (Lloyd Milsaps), Boyce Milsaps, Cobb Lawson, and Ruby Williams.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 14 at Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm.  Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, August 15 at Union Fork Creek Cemetery. The family highly encourages wearing masks to the services.
