Willie Oody

Willie Mae Oody, 94 of Loudon, passed away Thursday, February 11th. She was a lifelong member of Corinth Baptist Church and was loved by all for her kindness and sense of humor. She is preceded in death by parents, Joseph Alford and Bessie (Arden) Arp; her husband, Charles F. Oody; grandsons, Michael Franklin, Gary Franklin and Jason Brown; granddaughter, Pattie Jo Simpson; brothers, Jim Arp, Clifford Arp, Charlie Arp and Paul Harrison Arp; and sister, Sallie Milsaps. She is survived by daughters, Geraldine Franklin, Charlotte (Jimmy) Wiggins, Jeanette (Freddie) Johnson, Bobbie Jo (Rick) Harrell, and Darlene (Alan) Moser; son, Arthur Lee "Brother" (Mary Ruth) Oody; seventeen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Funeral service 2 pm Sunday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ryner and Rev. Rick Harrell officiating. Interment to follow at Corinth Cemetery.
