William Thomas

William A. Thomas "Tony",  age 66 of Loudon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Tony lived for his children, grandchildren, family and church family.  He dedicated his life to the Lord and announced his call to preach in 1978.  Tony was dependable, selfless and gentle. All of his life, he enjoyed riding horses and going on horse and buggy rides with his family. He was a retired truck driver with over 35 years of service. He was very hardworking and always on time! Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Frances Thomas; brothers, Rickey and Sonny; sister, Earlynn and nephew, Travis.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sheila Thomas; children, Tracy (Josh) Pope, John Thomas, Josh (Lindsey) Thomas, Jennifer Ball, Laura (Ramey) Lyle; grandchildren, Zack, Sara, Morgan, Tucker, Roane, Colton, Tanner, Macy and Zander; sister, Valerie (John) Garner and brothers, Jeffery Thomas and Sammy (Gail) Thomas; sister-in-law, Vickie Thomas; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends...too many to mention.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Randy Norton and Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. The graveside service will be at 11 AM Thursday, February 17, at Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In concern for everyone who attends, the family requests that masks be worn during the visitation and services.
