Harrison left this world peacefully at his home after battling cancer for over 2 years. He was a warrior and has shown us great strength and courage. He was a 1982 graduate of Vonore High School. He was a proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps, a loving husband, a caring father and the best papaw ever. The love he had for his family and friends was immeasurable. Harrison never met a stranger and found great joy in making new friends. He leaves behind many life-long friends and a family that loved him immensely. This world is surely a darker place.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Presley; grandparents, B.E. and Dorothy Presley and Gib and Mattie Lee Jenkins; uncle, Terry Jenkins, aunt, Pat Presley Easter and husband, Doug.

He is survived by his spouse of 11 years, Jill Wells Presley; mother, Margaret Jenkins Presley; sons, Cody and Coltin Presley; stepson, Wesley Godbey and wife Jayda; grandchildren, Braden Thearp, Riley, Jackson, and Elijah Godbey, and Wrenly June Gregg; Siblings, Tim Presley, Tywana Stoner and husband David, Jill Cook; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Nedra White; brothers-in-law, Jamie Wells and wife Nancy, Randy White, and Lee White; aunts, Billie Jean McMillan and Gwen Jenkins; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 5-8pm at the Piney Ruritan Community Center. Please bring your favorite dish, drinks will be provided everyone is welcome.
