BETTIS, WALTER G. "DICK" - 97, of Philadelphia, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Dick was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church and preceded in death by wife, Julia Marie Baker Bettis; parents, Erastus & Amanda Shipley Bettis; daughter, Rosemary Liszeska and two infant sons, Richard & Donald. Survivors: children & spouses, David & Phyllis Bettis, Warren & Theresa Bettis, Louise & Phillip Butler, Georgia, Tommy & Reba Bettis, Loudon Co., and Ricky Bettis, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Willis Bettis, Sweetwater; sister, Letha Shipley, Morristown. Funeral services 7 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home, Rev. Clayton Dunsmore & Rev. Ted Pegram officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Friday Cedar Fork Cemetery. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home.
