Virginia Summey

Virginia R. Summey, age 89, of Loudon entered her Heavenly home on Wednesday, 14 November 2018 at 7:17pm surrounded by loved ones at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church in Greenback, TN. Mrs. Summey is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Elmer T. Summey, and daughter Melissa Jane Summey; parents Ottis and Della Giles, sisters Dorcas Kirkland and Emma Palmer, brother Marshall Giles. Mrs. Summey is survived by her daughter, Glenda Sue Wood and husband Gerald, of Loudon, TN; 3 grandchildren; James E. Ragsdale II (Shawne), of Falcon, CO, Randy Ragsdale (Tabetha) of Vonore, TN and Stacey LeAnn Ragsdale, Seoul, Republic of Korea; 5 great grandchildren; James T. "Casey" Ragsdale, Falcon, CO, Austin T. M. Ragsdale (Ashleigh) of Falcon, CO, Allie Ragsdale (Alex Coffey) Madisonville, TN, Hallie and Summer Ragsdale, Vonore, TN and Gunner Lee Ragsdale of Seoul, Republic of Korea; 3 great granddaughters; Rylianne, Kadri, and Addie Ragsdale, Falcon, CO; sister-in-laws; Gertie Tallent, Shirley Summey, and MaryAnn Summey. Funeral service will be 7pm Sunday at Loudon Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Arp and Rev. Bobby Kirkland officiating. Graveside service 11am Monday at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm-7pm Sunday, prior to the funeral service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
