Verna Rolen
April 17, 1935 — April 8, 2025
Loudon
Verna Rolen, age 89 of Loudon, left her earthly home and entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was a longtime member of Jackson Chapel Baptist Church.
Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Rolen Sr.; parents, Robert “Bob” and Bessie Mae Britton; Sons, Hubert Rolen Jr. and Garry Rolen; granddaughter, Madlyn Wilson. She is survived by her son, Billy (Lena) Rolen; daughter, Carrie (David) Poe; Four grandchildren and their spouses, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and all the kids she helped raise along the way.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Jimmy Ridge will be officiating. Graveside service will be 11 AM Saturday, April 12 at Simpson Cemetery.
