Tika Jo Woody Bright, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018. She was born to John and Elizabeth Woody in the Paint Rock Community. In 1957 she married Virgil (Cotton) Bright and became a faithful and important part of Corinth Baptist Church and community. She came to accept Jesus as her Savior and Lord at Paint rock Church in 1946. Her testimony as a Christian was shown in her daily life through her love for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cotton; her son, Randal Neal Bright; stepdaughter, Drewan Lindsay; step granddaughter, Kim Willis; sisters, Robie Bostic, Frankie Wood, Mary Christian, Eva Bagwell and Ruth Miller; brothers, George and J.C. Woody; and several sisters in law and brothers in law. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families that were important in her life; along with special friends she called the church Golden Girls, Edith Presley and Margaret Howard; other special friends, Dot and Brelda; sisters in law, Kathleen Bright and Betty Bright; brothers in law, Junior Bright and Russell Miller. Special thanks to Concordia Therapy Center and 3rd floor staff for their care along with Dr. Rahman. The funeral service will be 7pm Friday, June 1, at Loudon Funeral Home with Terry Bright and Rev. Mike Arp officiating. Graveside service 11am Saturday at Corinth Cemetery with Rev. Adam Cook officiating. The family will receive friends 5pm - 7pm Friday, prior to the funeral service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
