Terry Atkins, 56, of Sweetwater, passed away Sunday evening at Vanderbilt Hospital. Preceded in death by father, Bennie Atkins; brother, Gary Atkins; sister, Vickie Atkins; grandparents, Lonnie and Edna Russell and Bowman and Hettie Atkins. Survived by: wife, Martha Atkins; mother, Mable Atkins Thompson; sisters, Karen and Tim Thomas, and Sherry Barr; sisters-in-law, Debbie and Ronnie Garner, and Jackie Wicker; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7 pm Wednesday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Joe Watson officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, at Union Fork Creek Cemetery, for 11:00 am graveside service. The family will receive friends 5 - 7 pm Wednesday, prior to the funeral service.
