Stephen White

Stephen W. White of Loudon, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at age 69. Born on January 11, 1955, in Aiken, South Carolina. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Stephen leaves behind a legacy of love — a love of gospel music, inherited from his parents; a love of Mexican food, after much persuasion from his wife and daughter; a love of comedy, passed on to his son; a love of the Vols and Braves, passed on to his grandsons. Stephen’s legacy extends to decades of friends and family members all united by his unconditional compassion for every person he met — even if this made leaving church an hour-long ordeal every week. Though he was a man of few words, he was a man of many laughs and a twinkle in his eye — a man who could make anyone feel welcome in his home.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ruth. Survived by his loving wife Teresa White (nee York), daughter Chastity Lovvorn (Mike), son Brett White (Sebastian Deken), and grandsons Sanders Lovvorn and Sawyer Lovvorn. He was a dear brother of Michael White (Beth) and Andrea White Humbert and loved as a brother by his cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. –7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home, 2048 Mulberry St, (37774).  Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Loudon Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Lovvorn officiating. Interment will follow at Roberson Cemetery, 4565 Roberson Springs Road, Loudon, TN 37774
