Ruth Gerry Williams

Ruth “Gerry” Williams, age 92 of Chattanooga passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  Gerry was born on March 9, 1930 to Ruel and Ada (Collake) Inman in Sweetwater, TN.  

In addition to her parents, Gerry is preceded in death by first husband, Denton “Bill” Thomas; Son, Gregory Thomas; and Brothers, Earl, Elworth, and Elmer Inman.

Gerry is survived by husband, Jack Williams; Daughter in law, Cindy Thomas; Grandchildren, Leslie Thomas Burnett and husband David, Diane Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Christian Thomas; Great Grandchildren, Emmy Strothers, Christian Burnett, and Canaan Burnett; Gerry is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

The funeral service for Gerry will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home at 4:00 PM.  The interment will take place at a later date at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
