Ruth 'Ruthie' Miller Lynn

Ruth “Ruthie” Miller Lynn of Loudon died Monday morning, April 27, 2026, at Parkwest Hospital. Ruthie was a retired employee of Maremont Corporation and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mintha Perryman Miller; brothers, Jesse, Lowell, and Bill Miller; and sisters, Marie Norris, Carrie Barnard, Christine Ownby, Anne Jenkins, and Virginia Wallace.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Charles Lynn; and son, Richard “Chip” Lynn. Also surviving are close friends, Gerri and Lee Woods.

She enjoyed watching and looking after the wildlife in her backyard and had a general love for animals. Ruthie enjoyed many weekends at their cabin in the mountains. She frequently spoke fondly about the trips she took with her son and their many adventures.

Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5–7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. The graveside service will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Roberson Springs Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Cook officiating.
