Robert “Bob” Leonard Kelch, born October 7, 1947 passed away on September 22, 2023. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Kelch, father and mother William Kelch and Mary Kelch Lowery, and sister Sylvia McCage. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he earned the Bronze Star for heroism. He went on to own the Kiddie Kingdom Daycare with his wife and son until he retired. He loved cheering on the University of Tennessee football team and attending as many local sporting events that his grandchildren played in. His greatest joy was being a Papaw to his 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his sister Rose Mary (Jimmy) Jones; daughter and sons Jennifer (Jerry) Vaughn, Brian (Heather) Kelch and Robert Kelch; grandchildren Leighann (Will) Wright, Megan Rayburn, Blake Kelch, Bobbie Ann (Jake) Pruett, William Kelch, Shyann Kelch, Isaac Kelch, Zachary Kelch, Madison Kelch, Leo Kelch and Emerie Kelch; special friend Carol Rogers; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7pm with Pastor Tony Arnold officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11am at Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Loudon Quarterback Club or the Loudon Diamond Club.
