SHELL, RICHARD M. - 79 of Stallcup Road, Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at his home. Richard was a veteran of US Army Korean Conflict and retired employee of General Motors. Attended Reed Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Dora Fain Shell; brothers, J.M. and Harold Shell. Survivors: wife, Sue Pruett Shell; son, Paul Shell and wife, Kim, Philadelphia; daughter Debbie James and husband, Wes, Loudon; grandchildren, Justin Shell, Philadelphia and Ashley Johnson and husband, Jay, Hendersonville, TN; sister, Marjorie Talent, Loudon; brother, Kenneth Shell and wife, Marjorie, Gatlinburg; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:00 p.m. Wednesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Brian Courtney and Rev. Chad Oody officiating.
