Richard L. Settlemire
January 8, 1932 — February 13, 2026
Loudon
Richard Lawrence Settlemire, age 94 of Loudon, formerly of Redlands, CA, went to go be with the Lord on February 13, 2026.
He was an Army veteran and backhoe operator. He had a kind heart and helped many people, he would give anyone the shirt off his back.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernine Joanne Settlemire; and son, Larry Settlemire.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Joelle Donaldson and husband Ralph; grandchildren; Lauren Donaldson and David Donaldson; brother, Steve (Linda) Settlemire; sister, Karen (Gary Cox) Trotter; nieces, Erin Wood, Danelle Gerber; and nephew, Ian Settlemire.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12:30pm at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy.
