Richard Powell

Richard H. Powell, age 55 of Sweetwater, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. He loved camping, fishing, and aggravating family and friends. He loved to travel to the mountains and down back roads. 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Ellen Powell. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Powell; children, Christopher Lee Powell, Brianna Powell, Matthew Powell, Tonya Poe and husband Scott, Chris Russell and wife Megan; grandchildren, Braylee Russell, Amelia Donath, Riverlynn Powell, Braxton Wallace, Evan Jarnigan, Melody Bond, Gabriel and Noah Lovelace; mother-in-law, Linda Cook; 2 sisters; special nephew, David Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
