Rev. Lawson

Reverend Bobby Lawson, age 80, of Lenoir City, went to be with Jesus on January 4, 2018. He was a member of Murray's Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Rosa Lawson, brother Jay, and sisters Gertie and Louise. Bobby is survived by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine Bright Lawson and son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Bridgit Lawson and granddaughter, AgnesLesley, all of North Pole, Alaska and siblings Floyd, Fred, Doc, Geneva and Wilma. Bobby retired several years ago from Yale Security of Lenoir City. He recently retired as pastor of Murray's Baptist Church in Sweetwater. He served previously as pastor of East Hills Baptist in Loudon and West Broadway Baptist in Lenoir City. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm at Loudon Funeral Home on Monday, January 8. Funeral Service will begin immediately afterwards with rev. Jimmy Riner and Rev. Donny Crass officiating. The burial will be at Corinth Cemetery at 11 am on Tuesday morning officiated by Rev. Tony Rutherford. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
