Ralph Eugene (Butch) Curtis, age 83 of Loudon passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at River Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoyed farming, the sawmill, dirt racing, working, and anything he could do to help his community.

Butch was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Curtis; parents, Lawrence Deforst and Erma Curtis; daughter, Gayla Sue Curtis; brother, Jimmy Lawrence Curtis; and sister-in-law, Rosetta Curtis.

Butch is survived by his son, Scott Curtis and wife Angela; daughter, Katrina Hatfield and husband Michael; grandchildren, Jake Curtis and wife Alyssa, Ethan Curtis, Ali Green, Alex Hatfield, Amanda Cash and husband Hayden, Austin Lane, and Abby Lane; great Grandchildren, Ian Curtis, Piper Beard, Emory Cash, Jaxon Cash, Sadie Bryant, Laykinn Dockery; Bonus daughter, Leigh Ann Bright and husband Chris; He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10-12 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Loudon with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Tony Curtis  and Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. The graveside service will follow immediately after at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
