Rachel Mae Fair

Rachel Mae Fair, age 73, of Athens, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026.

Rachel was a member of Prospect Church. She owned and operated Athens Health and Fitness Center for 21 years and also worked at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. Rachel had a love for walking and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Asilee Kirby; and sister, Joyce Ann Maynor.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 23 years, Alan Fair; son, Marc Anthony Davis and wife, Rose-Mari; granddaughter, Ava Mari Davis; sister, Virginia McNutt; and brothers, Wayne Kirby, Jackie Kirby, Ezra Kirby Jr., Albert Ray, and Fred Kirby.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
