Rachel Mae Fair

Rachel Mae Fair passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026 after a courageous battle with Stage IV pancreatic cancer.

Her greatest legacy will be the family that she loved so dearly and the values she instilled in them. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, strength, compassion, hard work and unwavering devotion to family. Her love for God and her trust in him remained at the heart of the life she lived and the example she set for those who followed her. Her influence will continue through her son, her granddaughter and all those fortunate enough to have known her and loved her.

Rachel was a member of Prospect Church. She owned and operated Athens Health and Fitness Center for 21 years and also worked at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. Rachel had a love for walking and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Asilee Kirby; and sister, Joyce Ann Maynor.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 23 years, Alan Fair; son, Marc Anthony Davis and wife, Rose-Mari; granddaughter, Ava Mari Davis; sister, Virginia McNutt; and brothers, Wayne Kirby, Jackie Kirby, Ezra Kirby Jr., Albert Ray, and Fred Kirby.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoky Mountain Service Dogs.

A celebration of life for Rachel Mae Fair will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Prospect Baptist Church, 10792 Prospect Church Road, Loudon, TN 37774.
