Pauline Franks, age 85, of Loudon, Tennessee passed away Friday, October 14th. Pauline was married to her husband Roy Franks for 62 years. They had two children, Pam and Jeff, and two grandchildren, Zachary and Samantha. In 1962, they moved to Dayton, Ohio for Roy’s job. She played softball until the age of 52. During this time, she began her beloved hobby of bowling, where she scored countless 600 plus games over the years.
After Roy’s retirement they returned to Tennessee where she enjoyed being near her family and friends, began quilting, and continued bowling into her 70’s. Pauline cherished her time with her grandson Zachary and loved taking care of him and driving him to school when he was younger. As the older sister, she had a special bond with her adored brother Gary.
Preceded in death by parents, Garland and Emma Fagg, brother, Joe Fagg, and sisters, Lorene Furrow and Alline Akins. Survived by husband, Roy Franks; daughter, Pam Lowrey, and son, Jeff Franks and Diane; grandchildren, Zachary Franks and Samantha Lowrey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Fagg, Jim and Jewel Fagg, Bill and Kaye Fagg, James and Vickie Fagg, Junior and Cathey Fagg; many nieces and nephews; and her precious cat, Baby.
Pam and Jeff would like to thank their Dad for the loving care that he gave Mom over the years. We love you Mom, and will miss you!
Family and friends will meet at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery for Graveside service.
