Listen to Obituary

Patricia “Gail” Campbell, age 78, of Loudon, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her family and dearest of friends. Gail was born to J.Y. and Jonnie Ruth McNabb on May 13, 1947, in Loudon, TN, spending all her life in Lenoir City and Loudon, Tennessee. Her greatest joys and memories were of fun times spent with family and friends, and, no doubt, she would say her greatest accomplishment was her timeless journey with the Lord. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a doting Nana, the most loyal of friends, and a great teacher of the Word. Her bravery and unwavering faith in the goodness of God no matter the circumstance will continue to inspire faith in us long after she’s gone.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Don “Peno” Campbell; daughter-in-law, Christi Campbell; son-in-law, Paul Kimble; granddaughters, Jordan Jackson (husband, Micah Jackson) and Ellie Campbell; grandson, Cooper Kimble; great-grandsons, Grey and Finn Jackson; her brother, Ronnie McNabb; and sisters-in-law, Connie McNabb and Doris McNabb. She would also want us to mention her nieces and nephews, Jay McNabb, Emily Lorenz, Taylor McNabb, and Megan Watson, and her adopted son, Doug Ingram. All of us were loved and spoiled to pieces by her!

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, Mike “Squeak” McNabb; and her beloved children, Randy Campbell and Marci Kimble.

Memories of Gail (Nana) will always make our hearts smile, and her legacy of deep faith, exuberant encouragement, divine wisdom, and generous love will be a daily inspiration to us. She inspired everyone she encountered and left an indelible mark on those blessed to be part of her tribe. We treasure the countless moments of grace she brought to our lives as we celebrate her remarkable life, rejoicing that this good and faithful servant of the Most High is now happier than ever in His glorious presence.

A special thanks to Caris Healthcare for taking such good care of Gail and our family as we navigated this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the youth group at Central Baptist Church.

A graveside service for family and friends will be announced at a later time.
