Mayme Lou Mizer Ballard, 83, of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ballard; father, Everett Mizer; mother, Sarah Letterman Mizer Smith; stepfather, John Smith; Survived by son, Doug Ballard and wife, Cathy, of Loudon; grandson, Lee Ballard and wife, Julia; great granddaughter, Hannah Ballard, all of Goodlettsville; sister, Charlotte Smith Allmon and brother, Kenneth "Bud" Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 PM, Friday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Davis and Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Graveside service 1:00 PM, Saturday, Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
