Mattie L. Croft

Mattie Nix Croft, age 84 of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Suzanne McKee; first husband, Luke Nix, Jr.; children, Ricky Joe Nix and Brenda Kay Nix; brothers, Charles, Arlen, Billy, Larry and Roscoe McKee; sisters, Holly Russell, Effie McKelvey, Georgia Ford, Elizabeth Vincent and Christine Mainor. 

Mattie is survived by her husband, David Croft; children, Sidney Boswell, Kenneth Eugene Nix, Timothy Lee Nix and wife, Dannette, Tammy Taylor and husband, Clayton; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Portia McKee; brothers in law, Kenneth and Richard Croft; sister in law, Charlene Hancotte; several nieces, nephews and extended family.  

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Corinth Cemetery in Loudon. Arrangements are in the care of Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations.
