Mary Cathrine (Stephens) Wood 84 of Loudon passed away Friday May 8, 2015. Mary is preceded in death by husband, George C. Wood; parents, James and Ruth (Mincey) Stephens; brothers, Cecil and Bill Stephens; sister, Ruth "Sug" Tate. Survivors: daughters, Kim Wood of Loudon, Stacy and Allen Holt of Sweetwater, son, Gary and Darlene Wood of Lenoir City; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alene Rucker of Sweetwater and Mattie Ann Dunsmore of Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, 6:00 PM at Open Door Baptist Church, Sweetwater; Rev. Ted Watson and Rev. David Davis will officiate. Visitation is 4-6:00 PM Friday, prior to the memorial service.
