Janie Rowe

Mary Jane 'Janie' Rowe, age 85, of Loudon, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026. She loved going to the beach and lived for her grandchildren; she was their “Mimi.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elsie Manring; sisters, Ruby LaBarge, Gracie Linens, Catharine Moody, and Margie Herndon; and brothers, Otis, R.J., and Ed Manring.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Rowe; children, Ronald Rowe II, Jeffery Rowe, Timothy Rowe (Donia), and Joseph Rowe; grandchildren, Robert, William, Brianna, Robbie, K.J., Cristoffer, and Bradley; brothers, Bill, Joe, and David Manring; and sister, Faye McCandless.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. Funeral services will follow, with the Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Johnston Cemetery.
