Mary Grace James, age 78 of Loudon, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and a retired dairy farmer. She was a dedicated 4-H volunteer and a past chapter regent of the Hiwassee Chapter of the DAR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Elinor James; and sister-in-law, Genzy James.
She is survived by her brothers, Toby James and wife Patricia, David James and wife Linda, and Scott James; sister, Janet Suedda James; two nieces and three nephews; and three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 6:00–8:00 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Jason Sweeton officiating. Interment will follow at Roberson Cemetery.
