Mary Collins

Mary Holt Collins, age 84 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord and her family on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She loved cooking for her family and enjoyed reading and puzzle books. She was known as Granny to all of her great nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Collins; parents, Carl and Anna Mae Hol;, brothers, Carl “Buck”, Earl, Benny, Jimmy, and Charles Holt; sisters, Bertha Oody and Louise Hoover; and nephew, Melvin Hoover.  She is survived by nieces, Kim Rowe and husband Dean, and Monica McCulloch; sisters-in-law, Kay Holt, Faye Holt, Peggy Kirkland, and Jama Collins; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 5pm -7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm. Graveside service will be at 11am Friday, August 19, 2022 at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
