Mark 'Doug' Douglas Atkins

Mark “Doug” Atkins, age 62, of Loudon, went to be with Jesus on September 5, 2025, at Parkwest Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Doug deeply loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was a devoted Loudon Redskins fan and had a passion for music. Doug worked in construction as a carpenter for CDM Builders and loved it.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn Atkins.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Atkins; son, Dusty Atkins (Starla); daughters, Stephanie Dawn Nichols and Tiffany (Thomas) Davis; sister, Shirley Garner (Jimmy); brother, Tony Atkins (Abby); grandchildren, Lexie, Jaylyn, Jason, Landon, and Levi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Loudon Funeral Home to help with expenses.
