Estelle Holt

Estelle Marie Holt, age 95, died peacefully with family by her side on April 24, 2023 in Nashville, TN.  Mrs. Holt was born on April 17, 1928 to Fred (Nip) and Mary Brackett in Philadelphia, TN. She was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Philadelphia, TN.  Her life revolved around her deep faith, her church, her family and her home.  She was an avid gardener and loved to read.  Mrs. Holt will be remembered by her family and friends for her unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and good humor.

Mrs. Holt is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 55 years Edwin J Holt; son, Larry W Holt; daughter in law, Mary Brockman Holt; and brother Freddy Brackett. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Holt Viltz (Jerome); grandchildren, Jason Ware (Anna Marie), Hillary Altaqi (Wael), Jenny Holt (Billy), Rebecca Ware (Tommy), and Garrett Evans (Jessica); as well as several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Loudon Funeral Home in Loudon, TN from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 29^th.  The Funeral Service will be held at Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Philadelphia, TN at 1:00 PM on Saturday, with interment in the church’s cemetery immediately following.
