Margaret Irene Clark

Margaret Irene Clark, age 86, of Paint Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. Margaret loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. She was a prayer warrior who loved to help people.

“We are going to try to remember that the love she gave us doesn’t leave just because she did.

It lives in us.

It lives in our memories.

It lives in the way we love our children.

It lives in the way we take care of each other.

It lives in every ‘How be you?’ we will carry in our hearts forever.”

She is preceded in death by her husband, Anderson “Red” Clark; parents, Martin and Ethel Mason; and sisters, Deloris Faye Mason and Leranda Kerr.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Clark and wife Jeanie, Benny Clark with Annette Simpson, and Robin Clark; grandchildren, Allison Clark, Emma Clark Vowel, Trevor Clark, and Lillian Clark; great-grandchildren, Magnolia Vowel, Nichole Vowel, and Axel Vowel; siblings, Kate Alexander, Charles Mason and wife Linda, James Mason and wife Nancy, Lydia Ann Gibby, Nina Moore and husband Charlie, and Tammy Mason.

The family would like to thank her caretakers, Joan Holt, Jean Bettis, Nina Moore, Annette Simpson, Laura A., and Dawn S., as well as Adoration Hospice, especially Leah and Lexie.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
