Malcolm Allison

November 13, 1941 — August 10, 2015

Malcolm Lee Allison, age 73, of the Solway community, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of the Beaver Ridge Lodge, # 366 F & AM and served in the United States Army. Preceded in death by parents, George F. and Josie Coward Allison; wife, Effie C. Allison; brothers, Walter, W. S., Angelo, Ray, E. O.; and several other beloved family members. Survivors; son, Mark and Christy Allison, of Knoxville; daughter, Lisa Allison Bell, of Solway; grandchildren, William, Sarah Kate, Aiden, Spencer, Louis and J.T.; sister, Lillie Ann Bradshaw; brother, George Herbert Allison; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Irene Leach, Ray and Terry Rose. Visitation Friday, 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 400 Everett Road, Knoxville, TN 37934, with funeral to follow. Family and Friends will meet at 9:00 am Saturday, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, for graveside services. Rev. Leonard Turner, Rev. Steve Graham and Rev. Mark Allison officiating. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Victory Chapel Baptist Church.
