Madge Brookshear, age 96 of Philadelphia went home on February 1, 2020. She was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Dude” Brookshear; Son, Glen Brookshear; Siblings, Tom Hensley, Homer Hensley, J.H. Hensley, Geneva Grimes, and Jeanette Parks Hensley.
Madge is survived by Granddaughter, Kimberly Meyer and husband Christopher; Great grandchildren, Tish Reyes, Erik Robinson, Ashton Robinson; Great great grandson, Jaxson Robinson; Sister, Ruby Fay Hill; A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with brother Cody Hill officiating. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at Reed Springs Cemetery.
