Luke Bright, age 82, passed away on December 8, 2025.
Luke served as former Chief of Police of Loudon County, an arson investigator for the State of Tennessee, and owner of Bright’s Bail Bonding in Madisonville. He proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran and was a strong Republican.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry J. Bright; mother, Dovie Kirkland Bright; brother, Henry J. Bright, Jr.; sister, Mary McJunkins; father-in-law, Frank Kagley; and mother-in-law, Effie Kagley.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda Kagley Bright; daughters, Leann (Tommy) Edmonds, Nicole (Kevin) Braden, and Megan (Mark) Boniface; grandchildren, Sydney- his Pooh Bear (Dustin) Littleton, Matthew, Scott, and Bethany Boniface, and Chelsea Braden; great-granddaughter, Leela Littleton; brother, Ben (Shirley) Bright; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Creek Christian School in Sweetwater.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Loudon Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vonore.
