Lillie Mae Clark

Lillie Mae Clark, age 88 of Paint Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was a lifelong member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. She cooked for Roane County Schools in Paint Rock and Midway Elementary. She loved flowers and gardening. She was a loving aunt and family member to many.

Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josie Clark; brothers, Trainer “Buck” Clark, Anderson “Red” Clark and William “Bill” Clark; sisters, Cordie Clark, Florence Raby and Helen Dawson; half-brothers, Fletch, Tom and Gillis Clark. She is survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Clark, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

The family would like to say Thank You to Wood Village Nursing Home for their care during this time. Also, Bobbie Stallcup, her special roommate and her church family and neighbors who helped during her time in the nursing home and sickness.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Johnson’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. James Mason officiating. Family and friends will gather between 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for viewing at graveside.
