Mrs. Leila Horton , age 100, of Sweetwater, TN formerly of Hiawassee passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 in Sweetwater, TN. Mrs. Horton was born on Sunday, September 12, 1909 in Waycross , GA. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA . Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by a son, Ansley Horton and her husband, Charles Wesley Horton. Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Bobbie & Fred Nicholson of Sweetwater, TN, son & daughter-in-law, David & Georgia Horton of Hiram, GA, brother, John Watson of El Paso, TX. Graveside services will be held Wednessday, February 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Osborn Cemetery with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Loudon Funeral Home in charge.
