Larry 'Hoot' Gibson

 Larry “Hoot” Gibson, age 61, of Loudon, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2025.

Hoot had a love of the outdoors, especially spending time fishing and working in the yard. 

He is preceded in death by his parents. Hoot is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Gibson; children, Angela Thomas of Tellico, Kerry (James) Shelton of Loudon, and Nicole Gibson of Loudon; grandchildren, Joshua Palmer (Dailynn Smith), Zoey Monger, and Jaxon Shelton; and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Loudon Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Corinth Cemetery.
