Juanita Davis

Margaret Juanita Davis, age 82 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and loved singing for the Lord. She loved traveling, crossword puzzles, painting ceramics, square dancing, and mostly, spending time with her family.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Francis Thompson; child, Morgan Davis; brothers, Butch, Benny and Van Thompson; sisters, Addie Sue Shaver and Frieda McNabb. She is survived by her husband, Ken Davis; children, Denny Letterman, Rhonda “Dian” Mayfield and husband Mike, Elizabeth “Gail” Mueller, Christopher Letterman and wife Dawn, Laurie Davis, Donna Davis and Robert Davis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Carey and Cathy Ballard and brother, Roger Thompson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 5 PM – 7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Clint Green and Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11 AM with Rev. Gary Cook officiating.
