Joyce Faye Lusby

Joyce Faye Brown Lusby, age 89 of Loudon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2026. She was a member of Central Baptist where she was dedicated to the church kitchen. She is known for her great cooking and her secret recipes.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jarrell “Tom” Lusby; parents, John and Mary Brown; brother, John “Injun” Brown; and sisters, Dolores Johnson and Nancy Gossage.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Hembree and husband Eddie; grandchildren, Amanda Thomas and husband Wayne, Missy Harris and husband Dave, Cole Thearp and wife Faith, and J.T. Thearp; great-grandchildren, Gabe Parks, Ava Collins, and Wyatt Thearp; and sister, Linda Evans.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dwight Torbett officiating.
