Joyce Irene Shirk Blankenship, age 79 of Madisonville, passed away Monday morning, May 4, 2015. She is preceded in death by husband, Cabe Blankenship; life companion, Bobby Fry; parents, Bruce and Lucille Starritt Shirk; sister, Azalene Shirk Leatherwood and brother, Clifford Shirk. Survived by son, Johnny Blankenship and wife, Della; daughter, Carmen McMahan and husband, Carl; daughter, Karen Black; grandsons, Kelly and Becky Blankenship, Coye and Stephanie McMahan, Clint and Lauren McMahan, Randall Brookshire, Cabe Black; granddaughters, Sonya Jamerson, Melissa Brookshire and Bambie Black; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Penny Watson; several sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Watson officiating.
