Joshua Adam Stockton

Joshua Adam Stockton, 47, of Sweetwater, TN, passed away on April 30 while living a life full of love, laughter, faith, and hard work.

Josh lived wide open, with his foot on the gas and his mind already on the next big idea. He made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. Always quick to smile, he turned strangers into family and friends into best friends, and left people believing that everything would be okay.

Josh’s greatest joy was his family. He was a wonderful husband to Juli and a proud dad to Caroline and Carter. He treated his kids like they were the smartest, most capable people in the world and made sure they knew how much he loved them.

He owned Southern Industrial Service and surrounded himself with hardworking, God-fearing people who became his friends. He was extremely proud of his team and what they built together.

Josh was a member of Northstar Church in Knoxville, where he loved to worship and grow in his faith. Outside of work, he loved farming, his cows and horses, and time on a tractor.

He is survived by his wife, Juli; his children, Caroline and Carter; his mother, Sue Stockton; his grandmother, Betty Stockton; his sister, Kelly Cash and Tre; and his brother, Drew Stockton, Laura, and Ethan.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
