Joseph Wendell Shope, age 64, of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home. He was employed as a painter at Y-12 Oak Ridge and was the beloved son of Cloa Gunter Shope. The funeral service for Mr. Shope will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Loudon funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2021 at Corinth Cemetery.
